This summer
I read “Ghost Stories” is a book composed for 6 stories, of differents authors:
- Smee by
A. M. Burrage
- The Judge’s
house by Bram Stoker
- The
stranger in the Mist by A. N. L Munby
- The
confession of Charles Linkworth by E. F. Benson
- The Ghost
Coach by Amelia B. Edwards
-
Fullcircle by John Buchan
I only read
four of them. And my favourite and for me easier than the rest, was “Smee”.
Is about a
girl that she died in a house, when she was playing a “hide and sheek”. And ten
years later, a group of people play a other game: “Smee”. And the girl is “inside”
the game.
For me,
this book was a little bit difficult, because is of level 5, and my level is 4,
but I would like to try to read this book.
Now I’m
going to write about, Bram Stroker (1847 – 1912), he is famous writer. He wrote
Dracula and when he was child he loved to listen ghost stories. And years later
he write ghost stories.
He was:
editor, theatre manager and lawyer.
The Judge's House |
He wrote
novels, short stories and non-fiction.
